Smokejacks features a special each day which showcases exclusively Vermont products. February offerings have included a Misty Knoll Turkey Meatball Sub with Vermont Hydroponic Tomato Sauce and melted Tarentaise Cheese; Magic Hat Beer Braised Boyden Farm Short Ribs over Mashed Potatoes; and Local Oyster Mushroom Gnocchi. We feel that while it is difficult serve 100 percent local products--we outsource things such as citrus, naturally raised pork, seasonal produce and certain cheeses--we feel that it is important to use as much as possible.
